The cannibal cake!!

Me (Ingvild) and my trustworhty co-cake maker Henning, have been at it again (making cakes that is..) and this time we’ve made what i believe to be one of the coolest cakes the world has ever seen. I don’t have a proper picture of it yet, but this’ll have to do for the time being. It clearly shows the awesomeness. Oh, and Henning might be talking a bit funny now, or not at all… but you know, some things you just have to sacrifice for art ^^

Summer, I welcome you

After a summer with a lot of rain and not so much rain, we have finally reached this summer’s highlight! :D

Ingvild, Kathrine and I are going on a little trip to Lefkas/Lefkada, a Greek island on the westcoast. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we can’t wait! At 9.35 Wednesday morning we’ll leave Bergen and hopefully the rain behind (I checked the weather report for Lefkas the coming week, and it said there’ll might be some cloudy days and some rain.) Lefkas isn’t exactly known for tourisme, so hopefully there won’t be to many tourists, though we are going to stay in Nidri, one of the two citys most “infected” by tourisme.

I’m gonna start writing a packing list, I love lists, and it’s so much easier to make sure I’ve remembered everything. I’ll might make the list in alphabetic order, just because I can. Oo, I’m also going to watch Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince with my sister tonight, finally. I’m very excited about that too. Enjoy the rest fo the summer, no matter where you are and what wheather you have :)

The first is a picture of our hotel, Captain Stavros, the rest are from different places around Nidri. I guess ther will be some sort of summary when we get back.

Summertime

Loooove summer :D even though i don’t really have anything to do, i  just like the freedom ^^ and the sleeping. As always when Iselin and I are bored one late night, wierd things happen… And since  I admit that i’m really a 10-year old on the inside, these wierd things tend to be my ideas, and also rather childish :p. We decided to start playing with magic! But we couldn’t stop laughing at the spells.. so we tried to make a magic potion instead :p our own magic potion. We blessed the water in the sun ( Iselin’s really good at that, ooo looking forward to full moon sermony in september :) ) and then we added various herbs that we found in my kitchen… Later.. we made a turban for a small statue… had a burqa fashion show, i pretended to be the Spanish Inquisition,  and then we became Glenn and some random blonde bimbo XD

Good times, we really know how to have proper laughing- out -really -loud fun :p

There might be some video clips involved with this, but i doubt anyone will ever see them.

Bad bloggers

We are very bad bloggers, very bad indeed. But we’re working on it. Our creative minds are not working full time due to holiday and.. other things occupying our minds :P But we are trying to come up with fun stuff and record through photos or videos.

Because I got nothing more creative at the moment, an old map of Bergen :P

Metallica!

On the 17. Metallica visited Oslo, and of course we had to be there to see them play. :D :D:D it was fun, really fun. We were waiting in line for 7 hours or something, so we got to stand at the very front. And i was almost killed :p. Lucky for me I had friends to look after me ^^. We had to stay the night in Oslo, and since we were 6 people travelling together, we got the hotel’s biggest suite, with 3 bedrooms on 2 floors, even though it wasn’t exactly huge.

Anyway, I’m having trouble with my ears now :( dammit. Might have to go see my doctor. Here are some pics of us waiting in line, our apartment and a mandatory tiger photo.

Graduation and Bjørgvin

20 hurrahs for Ingvild who passed her fencing graduation yesterday! Now I will start to train with steel swords and i might have to purchase my own sword and mask and stuff. Anyway, I’m looking forward to when Iselin starts nest semester! Then I will laugh at her since she’ll have to play around with the wooden sword ^^. Me and Katrine (fencing buddy) are both going to participate in the medieval festival “Bjørgvin Marknad”. it’s arranged by a medieval and viking museum, and since we’re part of it, we have to wear costumes (we’ll be dressed as templars) and eat medieval food for an entire weekend. Hoping for warm weather and no rain… raincoats not allowed, and we have to sit on skins, pelts or… stubs or something. It will probably be fun though, since we’ll be doing shows and there will be stalls selling fun stuff ^^

Magesår

For some reason two friends and I were talking about magesår. None of us really knew much about it, we didn’t really know what the English name for it was, belly wound just didn’t work. So I decided that i would find out more about it.  The English term for magesår turned out to be peptic ulcer. As I am a lazy person I’m not going to write about it here, it’s probably not that interesting anyway. If you do want to read more about peptic ulcer, but are to lazy to google it or anything, you can find it here, or here if you want to read it in Norwegian.

Yes, and that’s it
